The Morris Foundation, based in Fort Worth, Texas, was founded in 1986 by Linda and Jack Morris under the guiding principal that providing children and adults in need with developmental resources offers them the best opportunity for a more hopeful future.

Linda and Jack believed they could be more focused in their giving by starting their own private foundation. Following their vision, The Morris Foundation uses a strategic approach to support the programs and agencies that bring hope to those they serve. The approach invests in programs that are essential to meet the educational, health needs and social services of the vulnerable, while rigorously monitoring the impact of those investments.
